idealism

Lots of people watched the hearing of the Makati Mutiny in the session hall yesterday. I am one of them; I have waited for so long to see the junior officers. I have been really curious about their looks and their ideals. There were plenty of girls inside the session hall who took pictures of the young gentlemen. And when they were brought in, I was amazed. =)

Once the inquiry started, I have realized that I have not lost my idealism.. and somehow I’m quite disappointed too. Disappointed because I have decided to go with the flow… I have stopped seeking for reform or even hope for a brighter and better future. In some way, I have come to accept the fact that wealth and better life would always belong to the FEW. While some are enjoying luxurious things, most of the people are having things short of the acceptable standards. When everybody else is thinking of the things that they want and doesn’t need.. There are people out there who work so hard, almost breaking their backs with hard work, just to have the basic necessities in life.

These facts are making me worry… I am beginning to be afraid… and I’m losing all hope that someday all men would be able to enjoy things equally. I really don’t know with the others.. but personally speaking.. I have wished the poor people would be given the opportunity to enjoy life. And I hope that people would stop being unscrupulous and be more afraid of GOD.

I am afraid that Life would always continue to be unfair to some and favorable to a few.
