kulasisi
People ask me about this nick that I often use. I'd like to think that this is my pseudonym.. I hide behind this nick, handle, name or whatever it is called. Kulasisi is specie of bird. No, I haven't actually seen one. It can be found here in the Philippines though. Just like any other bird-- It flies from one nest to another.. Leaving her nest to look for another staying there as long as she wants and moving out when she feels like it. But Kulasisi is popularly known as -- Mistress, Querida, which is a name, used to refer to a girl involved with a married guy. Hopping from one bed to another, Kulasisi is a known fact of life, & society doesn't have any choice but to accept them as they are. However, it doesn't mean that they are treated with normality-- more often than not their life is a favorite subject matter of rumormongers. How a certain girl jumps from one man to another. What they don’t understand is the fact that Girls do fall in love. And whether it is wrong or it is right.. As long as she is happy, a girl would sacrifice anything, would do anything to keep that happiness.
Ok, now what does it got to do with me--- I often say that I chose this particular name because some of my friends were/are mistresses themselves. What are the qualifications of a Kulasisi;
1. They go for what they want.
2. They are hardheaded -- they do what they want whenever, wherever, however they want to do it.
3. They are always pretty and always smell good.
4. They are sweet. The type of person that would understand you no matter how vague your story is.
5. They are thoughtful. They give you things to remind you that you are being remembered.
6. They take care of the people they love. (this is in relation to number 7)
7. Quality service. Hehehehe!
8. They are nastier than the real wife. They are in fact more selosa than the real wife.
9. They are demanding. They want full attention. They love to inquire about the wife and all those stuff, which leads to a fight and to a one hell of a make up.
10. They are good stalkers. They would know when and where you are at a particular time. They need to know your itinerary. This is in relation to number 8. If they said call at 9, you better call at 9 or else she'll be calling you… we don't want that to happen, do we?
One way or another, I'm somewhat influenced by these traits. Speaking for my self, I see life as a borrowed thing. Just like a kulasisi who borrows a husband, time, love and affection. Enjoying each moment that they are together. Valuing each hour, each second spent. And just like Life, It doesn't last forever. One way or another-- it'll end. Sooner or later, you have to return what you have borrowed. So there, it may sound so corny but that's how I see it. =Þ~
I'm no longer a mistress of none.
I am kulasisi.
