The President of the United States of America visited Manila today. His wife, Laura, was with him, the visit only lasted for 8 hours. But a lot of things happened today... starting from the arrival ceremonies.. to the visit to Rizal park, Visit to Malaca?an, Speech in a joint session in Batasan... and State Dinner in his honor.
I take back when I said that I don't care-- Something happened to me today that changed my mind.
My ate and I, together with Kyle decided to go to the mall to have our early christmas shopping. Thereafter, we have to go to Cordillera in Quezon City to attend Christening party. On our way there -- We got caught in a traffic because the convoy of the President of America will pass by. So we ask the taxi driver to strategically place our vehicle in a place where we can take a view of the president.
Air Force One left minutes ago... Bush is off to Bangkok for the APEC Meeting. He's seemed pleased with his visit. The Philippine administration is quite pleased too. The leftist are left with their mouths hanging after they were fooled bout the routes President Bush will take. Buti nga!
It happened so fast, but I remember the feeling of elation. In the end, I don't really mean it when I said I don't care. I just want to lead myself to believe that I really don't.
