atty.
Finally, after the long wait-- the results of the 2005 bar exams are out.. and world.. am i glad to tell you that I passed! yey! yey! I feel so humbled that God had finally granted me my childhood dream. In the end, He really knows when to give it to you and He knows when you are ready for it. God is simply a miracle worker. Anyway, my so called "labor" (waiting in fear)was not that long-- only two hours in the least. I had the idea that the results would be out this week but I did not expect it to be out on a thursday night. Not when the others were released on a friday. So, clueless as I am-- I was watching the news last night while having dinner-- when Mr. Mike Enriquez qued a video on what was currently happening at the Court of Appeals. Then I got the shock of my life.. the results would be out-- I quickly hit the power button of the remote because my brain is not ready for the data that my eyes sent.
Then, I put my utensils down-- stared at my plate while the thoughts of the results sink in-- then, out of the blue.. I started crying. Tat was kind enough to console me-- and asked me to go out-- spend money in the grocery...and if i still want to spend more, we could visit the night market. But honestly, all i wanted to do was sit in a dark, cold room. To do what? to ponder on my life.
The shopping helped a little since it only lasted for an hour or so. Then taking the jeepney on our way home-- her cellphone beeped. I checked it out and it was my Nanay. She said "anak nakapasa ka daw sa bar." It was a shocking moment. I felt my body shake and flesh shudder. I did not believe it at first, that was why when we reached home, I opened my cellphone to check on my messages. and they were there... congratulations coming from my friends... thereafter, I got phonecalls from friends and relatives. I was in so much shock that I was not able to sleep last night. Hehehe what if it was just a dream and sleeping would mean waking up in reality??... I just can't bear letting go of the thought that God and I finally did it. So anyway, here I am-- still in shock.. but in a happy way. :) there's so many people to thank and I would find time to thank each and every one of you...promise. I attribute this success to God for I know He was the one who made it possible. I also dedicate this to my parents, my family and my friends. I love you guys. Believe me, PRAYER WORKS!
This would be the first time that I'm gonna write my name using that prefix...
