divatitudes-living
I bought a book last sunday. So I am starting it today and a journal is required so I can track down what's wrong with the decisions that i made in the past and actually lead a better life. First lesson would be Attitude Check.
If you could ask God one thing about your life, what would it be?
I would probably ask God how come I lived my life the way I did.
What do you love about your life?
My family. My friends. Laughter. The trials that I hurdled. The lessons that I have learned along the way.
What don't you like about your life?
Why am I always second best.
What would you like to change about your life?
I would probably change the bad decisions that I made in the past...
What is your greatest area of need? Struggle?
It is the assurance that in my lifetime, somebody would hopefully be strong enough for me. I struggle with longing for that someone who would actually care, respect and love me.
What areas have you felt most certain of? Uncertain?
I am sure that I can love someone unconditionally, give mutual respect... compromises and loyalty.
Uncertain? Trust. Promises.
What area of life has given you the greatest sense of significance?
When they need me. The ability to bring laughter or smile to someone's face even if they're feeling sad and low. The sense of happiness that I feel when the people I love are worry free and happy.
In what area could you use more growth?
Decision making.
Today is a new day. The past no longer counts as I create a new present by giving my future to God (yes, to GOD!) and agreeing with His divine plan for me. I will begin by forgetting the past.
In your personal opinion, what determines how successful you are in your life?
The happiness that you feel. The peace of mind that you enjoy. The love shared between you and your loved ones. Contentment in all the things that you have and acceptance that you will not have the things that you don't need. Knowing you lived your life in accordance to God's purpose.
Why are these things significant to you? Are they significant to God? Why or why not?
they are significant to me because these are the simple things that most people ignore. I would like to think that they are significant to God because otherwise, I would really really feel stupid. Heheh
What things would make you happy even if you did not have a lot of money?
It is the knowledge that we are strong for each other... we are happy although we cannot afford eating at classy restaurants, we don't get to buy luxurious stuff. It is the bond that tightens in times of struggle.
What could you live without?
I could live without the things that I don't actually need.
What could you not live without?
Family. Friends. Love. Respect. Laughter.
