the king of pop that was michael
i know this entry is quite late. let's just say that up to the last minute i was in denial. though i was watching the tube when i first heard about michael being unconcious and that announcement that he had died-- i just totally ignored it.
people of my age grew up to the music of madonna, cindy lauper, michael jackson to name a few. in this lifetime, i am grateful that i have come to witness great events and knew (know) great people.
it's no secret that i am an avid fan (which could have caused the denial stage).. anyway, i watched the memorial early this morning... it was a celebration of his life and his music. the service made me cry.
so i bid final farewell to mj. adieu.
