dog whisperer wanna be
my nanay was fond of pets, birds..fishes and yes, especially dogs. come to think of it, eversince i was a kid, we would have a dog around-- we would name makoy, bantay, spottie, blackie, brownie or just any weird names we could think of.
i have 3 dogs right now. a male shi-tzu named shin-shin, a female half-breed shi-tzu and lhasa apso named Fifi, and a sheepdog (askal to me) named Basya. Every waking day after our stupid maid went away, i took charge in taking care of them every morning. No problem with shin-shin cause he stays inside the house. I figured to give my girls their most needed exercise after the rainy week that we had, so i set them out running while i clean the pen. They would be having their bath too so it doesn't matter if they get dirty. My dogs are fast runners. I can actually jog with them if only I jog. But since I don't,they have to do walking instead.
After cleaning the pen, I took their leash and decided to walk my girls. I have been watching Dog Whisperer a lot so I have seen Cesar Milan do this everytime. I have to impose authority and be the pact leader. That way, they will be in a submissive state. 2 dogs and me. How hard can it be right?
The moment i put their leash on, the were excited about my presence that they ran about-- leaving us 3 tangled in the middle of the road. Hehe. It turned out I was not the pact leader after all. Haha.
