happy 68th Nay!

It's my number 1 woman's birthday today. She would have turned 68 if she were alive. There would no parties cause that's just the way she is.. and for sure, She would probably visit Nazareno and cook Pancit Canton for us and the neighbors to feast on.

It's been 5 years. There's still no party today.. not even a pancit canton for her birthday. But I will be in Quiapo Church, praying for my Nanay. Thanking the Lord for letting me have a wonderful not so perfect Mother. I know I would not be the way I am if were not for my Nanay.

It still breaks my heart that she's no longer here to celebrate life with us or to spend holidays with us. But wherever I go, whatever I do-- my Nanay would always be in my heart. She will forever be my no. 1 woman. She will forever influence me with my actions, she will forever be reflected in my decisions. For that, I am truly thankful.
